Identification
Metallic green to blue to purple, with bright yellow legs and golden pile; quite showy. The bright yellow legs + exceptionally long, curved proboscis are diagnostic.
Range
n. California to Baja(1); fairly common in the Inner Coastal Range, noted from Baja Norte to eastern California.
