Great - 3 (or 4) species
American Beetles says Texas-Arizona into Mexico, but there is a very recent record for sallaei in Kansas and parvulus from California! From published distribution - would seem to be B. sallaei.

important characters - elytra not margined, pronotum with postapical carina

I have a few more species I want to add, but ...
I guess we're only missing the Geotrupinae: Ceratophyus gopherinus - thats a CA beast as well - ever see?
