Though this work covers more than North America, it includes North American genera with distribution maps, notes on host relationships, illustrations that help identify at least to genus level, and much more. A great resource!

Although out of print, and in some respects out of date, I have consulted this tome numerous times where I had nothing else available. It has been a very valuable resource.
