Lake Louise Midge - Male
Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

Size: Length ~ 4 mm
Hosts of little black midges were emerging from the crystalline blue water of Lake Louise. I wonder if this species is found elsewhere, or has a requirement for the rock flour-infused glacier meltwater of this lake.
Sorry for the image quality. It was a cloudy and chilly day.
