Blow Fly?

Blow Fly?
Entrance to Johnston Canyon, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada
August 23, 2007
Size: ~ 10 mm
Sitting on a leaf in low light. Relatively non-wary. I'm still bad with the Calyptratae ... don't know if this is a Muscoid or Oestroid. I thought the wings looked kind of nice.

This one reminds me...
Of a Mesembrina sp. (Family Muscidae). But this similarity could be due to mere convergence. That's why checking for hypopleural setae under a lens is so important for Calyptrate Flies.
