Vedalia Beetle - Rodolia cardinalis

Vedalia Beetle - Rodolia cardinalis
Kenner, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, USA
December 9, 2007
I am fairly certain this isn't a soft-winged flower beetle but I am fresh out of guesses. It is much smaller than a ladybird (multicolored Asian). I looked through beetles and ladybirds but couldn't find anything close.

Thanks in advance AGAIN :)
