Nice pic and nice find of a histerid larva. Considering the size of the larva and the location you found it, I believe this is a Hololepta sp. I'll try to get Dr. Peter Kovarik to verify this. Thanks for posting. Keep an eye out for the adults. They are quite impressive as well.
