Mordella sp. Mordella sp.

Mordella signata
from Liljeblad's ref.(1), this appears to be Mordella signata Champion 1891. Although I can't find any web images to confirm, the species appears to be distintively marked well enough that I'd suggest moving this to a species page.

Due to the lighting angle, your other image shows the elytra pattern much better, although on this one you can see the "head black with cinereous pubescence; prothorax black with yellowish cinereous pubescence becoming denser on sides". On your other image you can see the "broad oblique band from humerus downward one-third length of elytra, near middle a large oblong spot on innner side of this band near suture, sometimes confluent with basal band, and a large angular spot on disk beyond middle, with yellowish cinereous pubescence" (the line drawing makes a comparison even more obvious). Length: to apices of elytra, 8mm.

nice images, and another new species for BugGuide :)

hind tibia?
any good shots of the hind tibia / tarsi? That's what seems needed for most IDs in this family.

Mordellidae.
I agree with the family, not so sure about the genus. This looks very similar to a species I collected in Cincinnati that is in a different genus (the name of which I naturally can't recall...).
