Do you have a microscope?
It would good to see a close up of the tarsal claw, and if there are any hairs on the elytra (they will be very small if present).

Hi again,
I viewed the elytra under the microscope. The elytra is glossy with with many evenly spaced very small punctures. Using various angles of light I was not able to see any tiny hairs on the elytras surface, even under sharp focus. I was not able to get any close up views of the tarsal claw; or any photos through the small scope. Hope this helps - one way or another.

Hi James,
I do have a small microscope. After the holidays I will check to see if I can find the specimen, and view it under the scope. Not sure if I will be able to get photos with with my camera; but I will try. My thanks for the tentative ID.
