Ceuthophilus hesperus eino - Ceuthophilus hesperus -  Point Mugu State Park, Sycamore Canyon, Ventura County, California, USA June 5, 2006
This is one of two common California species, the other being C. californianus. Both may occur together. Identification is accomplished by examining the internal male genitalia. Females are indistinguishable. This is the northernmost of the C. hesperus subspecies, known only from the Santa Monica Mountains in southern California.
