Ceuthophilus hesperus transitans - Ceuthophilus hesperus - Male
Laguna Mountains, Troy Canyon, San Diego County, California, USA

This subspecies of C. hesperus is known from the Laguna Mountains. Found on bare ground in an oak woodland.
