Sarcophagidae?
I am inclined toward Sarcophagidae because photo 1 shows a hind of a red male postabdomen

FWIW, I had the same thought.
.

Thanks
I didn't realize that the red part was so significant. It shows very well in the ventral view.

Moved
Moved from Tachinidae.
Before deciding whether to frass, I replaced it with a lighter version and added another view. I also have a ventral view if needed, but in general I don't like flies with their legs up in the air.

Tachinidae ??
Photo is too dark to be sure...might also be a Sarcophagidae

tachinidae
this one might be IDed one day due to the weird loop in the m vein.

the folded membrane is responsible for the weird loop
on a more constructive note.......
