Brachymeria fonscolombei - Brachymeria podagrica - Male

Size: ca. 5 mm.
A whole group of these colorful chalcidids showed up in an office building. It turned out that a pigeon had died on the roof next to a ventilation duct. The larvae had crawled into the shaft to escape the summer heat and pupate.
