Unknown Click Beetle - Hemicrepidius morio

Unknown Click Beetle - Hemicrepidius morio
Tilamook State Forest, Washington County, Oregon, USA
July 26, 2003
Size: 17 mm
I have no clue as to the species as these are quite tough to ID, but it is all black with no hair. It looks like Selatosomus aenus which has photos on the web, but it isn't listed from the area collected. Any ID help would be great.

Not much hope
. . . for clickies to be identified unless we have a specialist of the family with us . . .

This is not S.aeneus, I´m sure insofar.

Hemicrepidius morio
Definitely Hemicrepidius, and H. morio based on the overall shape and size, the lack of prominent pubescence on the pronotum, and the prominent striae on the elytra in combination with the polished appearance to the pronotal disc. Comparison with specimens from BC in the Wagner/Scott Collection.
