small winged insect - Otiocerus wolfii

small winged insect - Otiocerus wolfii
Harvard, Worcester County, Massachusetts, USA
August 23, 2003
Size: ~8mm
It looks a little like a moth, but it isn't. Anyone have any ideas?

Otiocerus wolfei
The ridiculously twisted antennae (orange) are clearly shown in this photo.

Derbidae!
Congratulations, I'm pretty sure this is a new family for Bugguide! Derbidae are Hemipterans in the Fulgoroidea. Andy Hamilton might be able to tell us what genus this is. Great image!

You forgot Stephen ;)
He submitted an image of Cedusa back in January, IDed by Andy Hamilton at the time.
