Neat looking
Looks like the cyclops of the caterpillar world.

 
Except
that it has this one eye at its rear end!!

Abbot's Sphinx
Abbot's Sphinx, Sphecodina abbottii. This is one of the two completely different color forms.

What a beautiful caterpillar. I've never seen this one. Nice photos!
