This is not just a "species" for "state" in "month" posting. The fact that I'm adding a photograph to the Guide for others to study is not implicitly stated, but is hopefully understood anyway.

Hymenia
This is a Hymenia perspectalis, # 5169.

Spoladea recurvalis has a straighter AM line, an unbroken and fuller median band, and most notably lacks the two white patches in the fringe of the FW (as well as white patches in fringe of HWs).
