Hololepta sp.? - Hololepta

Hololepta sp.? - Hololepta
Ash Mountain, 2800' elev., Tulare County, California, USA
July 17, 1992
Size: ca. 16 mm.
This is the biggest Hololepta that I've ever collected. We do have Yucca whipplei in the area where this was collected. Could it be Hololepta yucateca? Does that species come this far north in California?

Moved
Moved from Clown Beetles. Seems that this is certainly a Hololepta, so I moved it to the genus level.
