Suillia

Suillia
Marlton, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
September 10, 2007
Size: Maybe around 8 mm?
I've shoveled through the dung flies, waded through the marsh flies, and am now sour on the idea of vinegar flies. I am tired, Stimpy, so tired. How about Genus Suillia???

Moved
Moved from Heleomyzidae.

Certainly its in Heleomyzidae
Certainly its in Heleomyzidae. You can see the oral vibrissae and the spines on the costa of the wing. The spots in the wing are typical of some species, but I'm not qualified to identify it beyond family.

Suillia

Thanks
