Leaf Beetle - Plagiodera versicolora
Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA

Size: 5 mm
Photographed in our yard. I browsed through "Peterson's Guide to Beetles" (1), and it looks to be from the subfamily Chrysomelinae (a distingiushing trait being the 2 pads on the front feet). It may even be a species of Phaedon.

You are right. This is Plagiodera versicolora from the subfamily Chrysomelinae
