Dung Beetle - Copris arizonensis - Male
Cave Creek, Chiricahua Mountains, Stewart Campground, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 16, 2007
Size: 19 mm
This must be a male. He has an impressive array of horns! He came to my black light. Habitat was mixed oaks and junipers, as well as other trees near a stream.

Copris sp. prob. arizonensis
has to be Copris arizonensis - certainly new sp. for the guide. Page 26 includes a record for Stewart camp for this sp.

Thanks for the great clarification.
And also for the article. They are pretty widespread in AZ!
