Size: BL 15 mm.(pincers incl.)
Collected on emergent vegetation at the edge of a pond. The second tarsal segment is wider than, and extends beneath, the terminal segment (see third photo). I believe this is diagnostic for the family Forficulidae. The "dark stripe" down the middle of the back points to the Genus Doru.
Confirmation/correction and proper placement would be appreciated.

Spine-tailed Earwig (Doru aculeatum) family Forficulidae
This is a perfect match in the NWF Field Guide to Insects and Spiders (1) page 87. I just don't know if there are similar looking species.
