Striped Spider - Drapetisca alteranda - male

Striped Spider - Drapetisca alteranda - Male
Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada
January 7, 2008
The closest spider i could find in the guide was Drapetisca alteranda, but the range listed was on the other side to the continent. If it is D. alteranda, then it may have a much larger range then previously listed. This specimen was found hiding in a rotten log.

Distribution
Distribution as listed here in Kaston includes British Columbia and probably all of Canada as well as much of northern US.
Fine series of images!

Thank you
Thank you for the for the info and the compliment! I figured now that I have a digital microscope It might be a good time to join and contribute a little.

I took the liberty of moving this to the "Drapetisca alteranda" section. I hope that's within normal BugGuide etiquette...
