Coptodera aerata

Coptodera aerata
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 26, 2007
Size: ~7mm
believe this is Coptodera aerata (first one I've seen). The basal margin of the pronotum appears less "lobbed" than the similar looking Lebia. I believe the elytra puncture/setae on stria #3 is also much further forward. corrections welcome :)

came to UV light. 15 image montage

Yes
Great find. The last picture shows the suborbital setae well.

Ditto
I notice that Brad's image of Coptodera aerata shows more greenish shiny metallic luster and less defined stria on elytra ...just different photographic effects of same species (hopefully). C. aerata is known throughout southeast quadrant of USA which includes NJ according to catalogue by Bousquet & Larochelle (1993). I am not that familiar with this species; have never seen a specimen from WI; sure would like to add a representative specimen to my reference collection.

Sure
I'll keep you in mind if I run across more of these.
