Leaf beetle - Eumolpinae? - Paria

Leaf beetle - Eumolpinae? - Paria
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 27, 2007
Size: ~4mm
I believe this is a leaf beetle, possibly from the subfamily Eumolpinae, but I didn't see any similar looking species in the Guide. Corrections welcome.

came to UV lights. 13 image Montage. I'm still getting my lighting setup worked out, and have managed to go from too little to way too much. So please feel free to frass after we get an ID.

Moved from Leaf Beetles.

Yes and yes.
I believe on both counts you are right. I'm not sure of the genus, though the general habitus is strikingly like that of Paria.

Paria
Yes, this is Paria. On the second picture you can see the postocular lobes (which exclude Metachroma, the closest thing to Paria) and the emargination of the tibia typical for Paria. Getting it to species will be very hard. Even with such excellent pictures
