Moved from Ichneumon Wasps.

A number of species with black and white banded hind tibia occur in Michigan.

The slender polished appearance, a pointed wing areolet, an elongate depressed and cylindric abdomen, large tarsal claws, surface swellings on the middle tergites, and a smooth mesoscutum point to this group.
