Cheryl you may be right. The lack of a Cubital Loop places this small clear winged Psocopteran in the Family Ectopsocidae and your location (in North America) suggests it is from the genus Ectopsocus. There are three species that live in Washington State and the species you selected is one of those three E. briggsi. I don't have the skills to tell them apart... yet but hope my comment is of some help.

I should hire you to collect the psocoptera you find a mail them to me. It would be nice to have these species in our collections.

Well, I was planning on collecting Springtails for a project I'm going to be working on...the locations I find those are very near the locations I find the bark lice. Please email me with how you would like them preserved, and where to send them, and I'll see what I can do. This project I mentioned isn't going to start until around March, though.
