Clidophleps
The wing venation is unusual in this genus - there are two very large cells at the base of the wing with a very narrow cell between them. There are several species that look like this.

Are there any characters to photograph so it could be keyed to species?

I am not familiar with the variation in this genus, but "Pronotum with varied pale markings / may be entirely pale" sounds more like your specimen than "pronotum black with only the median [line] and margins orange". However, since there are no species in this genus reported from Utah yet, I cannot guarantee that it is not something unknown.
