I find no reference to Aphalaridae in the current edition of Borror & Delong. Is this the current family or should it be put into the Psyllidae?

The genus Livia is also liste
The genus Livia is also listed as Aphalaridae in Nomina, but BugGuide has it placed in Psyllidae. But I thought Nomina was the backup for decisions on placement??

Not sure
The best I can say is that Nomina is "older" than other sources and is not kept up-to-date. The fact that this family is not mentioned in Borror & Delong 7th ed (2005) makes me think it may not be recognized anymore or is not universally accepted. I'll just move these to guide pages in Psyllidae.

I did a quick literature search and Aphalaridae is still in use. I would be interested in what an expert on the group has to say.
