Superficially appears most like Cyclotrachelus
(syn. Evarthus) but my impresson is at odds with body size "6 mm" which would be too small for this genus I believe. The pterostichine habitus showing broad but narrow-waisted pronotum with deep basal depressions were my clues for Cyclotrachelus. I'm open to other suggestions, like a small Pterostichus?

Cool find
You'll have Brad confirm it soon, but with those large eyes and distinct ponotum, I'm going with something in Nebriinae, maybe Nebria, but as usual, I could be very wrong (not much help is it?). They're a neat subfamily and I haven't yet had a personal encounter with one. I also have to say again, for the record, your pics are absolutely amazing these days!

Don't think this is Nebria
Its not easy IDing ground beetles from photos. If I had to make a guess (with the size being 6mm), I would say Bembidion. But thats just a guess.

:-(
Oh well.... not even in the right subfamily

Thanks!
I really appreciate it! I'm trying.
