Came to light. Looks like the same species as
this pair shot in the same county five days earlier.
Of the eight
Dysdercus species listed at
nearctica.com, it doesn't look like the three already in the guide, and it's not
D. concinnus. Could it be a variation of
D. bimaculatus? I couldn't find photos of
obliquus or
obscuratus, but the description of
mimus here doesn't match this specimen.
