Stone Centipede

Stone Centipede
Martinez CA, Contra Costa County, California, USA
December 31, 1969
Found while picking chantrelle mushrooms in oak leaf mold. I believe it's a Stone Centipede..Lithobiomorpha..based on similar pictures in the guide. Looking for confirmation or correction...Thank you.

Stone centipede
It looks like a harmless stone centipede. They are usually found under decaying logs.

Garden Centipede
Lithobius forficatus?
Or at least a related species... I'm no expert, but that would be my guess...

Scratch that...
Never mind... I think your first assumption was probably the correct one. Sorry. :X
