Wood Roach nymph - Parcoblatta

Wood Roach nymph - Parcoblatta
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
January 27, 2008
Size: 9.5mm (3/8")
Wood Roach nymph. I found it under a piece of fallen tree. Please help with ID.

Keep me informed.
Huh... that's interesting...
I have very similar ones here in New Hampshire, but the two clearly aren't the same. The head is red & it's cerci are very broad & covered in thick setae.
I'd be interested in finding out what this is, too...
Have you found any with wings in that area?
It may be a nymph...

Nymph.
This is indeed a nymph. Even females have more developed wing pads....The one you refer to in New Hampshire could be a different genus: Ectobius. Please see our guide pages to note the subtle differences.
