Bitoma quadriguttata
I've found and photographed this species several times in New Hampshire. I'm going to call it Bitoma quadriguttata, since it most closely resembles members of that genus, and Bitoma quadriguttata is the only species for that genus listed on the University of New Hampshire insect collection list. (I only use the section for beetles :

Unfortunately, I can find no Web images for B. quadrigutatta to compare.

Colydiidae?
Might be a cylindrical bark beetle in the family Colydiidae.
