elytral intervals minutely punctate, middle plate of mentum (lower mouthpart) elongate-oval (not transverse, like a flattened heart shape, as in punctulata and imberbis)
Range
New England (and further north?), south to Virginia, Georgia, west to Wisconsin, Ohio.
Habitat
Usually found beneath the bark of oak (Quercus) and Beech (Fagus).
