Size: ~3mm.
Found this guy on the edge of one of our raised beds in the garden. (live oak/chaparral habitat). Perhaps this same as .

What about something in Mycet
What about something in Mycetophagidae? I'm looking at the shape of the pronotum and flattened appearance. The byturids have a three segmented club to the antennae, while the mycetophagids have up to five segments in the club. I count at least four in the picture.
