I just noticed that the Nearctic Database uses this same image for Phlegra fasciata: http://www.canadianarachnology.org/data/spiders/35574

What is the story behind that?

Check the info page
I believe I made the page for Phlegra fasciata, and I see that Jeff Hollenbeck made an update to the page last year. Maybe he knows something about the id change.

Jumper
This is very similar to a spider I shot in Arkansas that I believe is Phlegra fasciata. May be color variable but the stripe pattern appears to remain consistent.
