The shadow on the front of this one doesn't help. If it can be figured out to species, that would be great, but not expected.

This
is a subadult male. The size of the palps and fact it was under bark makes me think Steatoda...

 
The reason
Steatoda came to mind was I collected a specimen of what used to be S. marmorata in CT.
I believe this is Enoplognatha marmorata. The image here is a Japanese species, but resembles US species.
