Crab Spider sp? - Misumenops

Crab Spider sp? - Misumenops
Toledo, Ohio, USA
August 18, 2007
Any Idea of what species this is?

Moved
to genus page for now.

Corrected id
I rather think it is a M. bubulcus.

More info
Well, you guys definitely narrowed it down for me. These are the only Misumnops native to Ohio:

Misumenops asperatus
Misumenops celer
Misumenops oblongus

Any guess's to which one it is?

In that case I vote for asp
In that case I vote for asperatus.

Distribution
All the references I could find list M. bubulcus as Puerto Rico only. Did you have other information available to you?

Sorry,no.
I got it from this site: http://www.puertoricospiders.com/

Spider id
Misumenups Bellulus ?

We would say Misumenops
but again, unfortunately, we are still waiting for the Misumenops expert to show up and enlighten us on the various species.
