Leaving your porch lights on during summer nights can bring you a surprising array of moths.
I haven't the vaguest idea what any of them are.

Looks like Brown Bark Carpet
You're close with the rug. It's another name for a carpet:-)

Hahaha! Wow! It's funny when you get something right by accident! I love the patterns on moths. It's sad that they go relatively unappreciated because of their general lack of bright colors.
