Size: .5 - 1mm
Very ant like in appearance, maybe a termite?
I've never seen such a small termite.

Bark Louse
Some bark lice lack wings, though this could be a nymphe, too.
Possibly a book louse?

The big thing with termites is that they lack eyes among all but the adult reproductives.
