stonefly?

stonefly?
Donalds, Abbeville County, South Carolina, USA
February 1, 2008
found near a creek, crawling around a rotting log. couldn't have been much more than 1cm long.

Moved
Moved from Stoneflies.

Capniidae
Eric's cautionary comment is a good one: the appearance of teneral insects can be very deceptive, especially when color/markings are used to try to make an ID. The season and the general appearance (especially the visible tails) would seem to rule out everything but Capniidae.

Looks like
it might be one of the Green-winged Stonefly.

Careful:-)
Could be a teneral (pale, freshly-emerged) adult of some other family....

Correct
It is a stonefly, but what species I don't know.
