for the subfamily ID. We are about 10 miles (as the crow flies) from the ocean & 8 miles from the upper end of Elkhorn Slough.

Far, as the midge flies
There are some marine species that aren't handled by the abbreviated key I'm using, but they wouldn't fly so far inland.
