2 spp. in a single genus in our area, ~40 spp. in 6 genera in the New World (all but a dozen in Cyrtinus)(1), >60 spp. in 14 genera total(2)

Range

primarily Neotropical & Australasian(2); in our area, 1 sp. in e. US + 1 sp. in TX(1)
