I just added my beetle photo after Ron M cautiously identified it as a Cottonwood Leaf Beetle. Even finding all these different stages on nearby plants, I hadn't made the connection. Thanks.

Cottonwood Leaf Beetle
That is indeeed what this is, Chrysomela scripta Fabricius. It is extremely common at times on willow throughout Florida.
