Elongate-bodied Springtail - Tomocerus minor

Elongate-bodied Springtail - Tomocerus minor
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
February 15, 2008
Size: 4mm
Found under a board in my garden. I can't tell if it's T. minor or T. vulgaris.

Moved
Moved from Tomocerus.

Tomocerus minor
T. minor has a uniform bluish iridisation.
T. vulgaris has a dark purplish iridisation distincly interrupted by at least 3 transversal golden bands (located at the segment margins).

Thank you
Some day I'll be able to get it.
