Oak Beauty?

02/24/2008 Update - this moth and the adjacent BG#169890 are now showing up in numbers together (primarily males) with many varying degrees of white patching in between. Overlapping range, same species? I don't know, but as with the Lunate Zale edusa form, white patches seem to be of great advantage here, where a whitish-green lichen abounds on the trunks and limbs of all oak species and several other hardwoods (junipers - not so much).
