Cuckoo Wasp - Chrysis angolensis

Cuckoo Wasp - Chrysis angolensis
Bartlett Ave., east side, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, USA
September 21, 2003
Size: 1/2 in. long
Found on vegetation near our daughter's apartment. It's not the greatest photo, but can anyone ID it?

Moved
Moved from Chrysis.
I agree with Eric, it is Chrysis angolensis.

Moved
Moved from Pseudomalus.

Not Pseudomalus.
This is in the genus Chrysis most likely. At that size, and if the wings are truly dark, it may be Chrysis angolensis, a species that came from the Old World in mud dauber nests on ships.
