Which Robber Fly ? - Mallophora fautrix - Male
Skull Valley, (WSW of Prescott 10 miles), Yavapai County, Arizona, USA
August 31, 2007
Robberfly with a victim on last year's wild sunflower stalk.

Fortunately
AZ only has two Mallophora. This is Mallophora fautrix. A male.

Thanks Herschel
I didn't recognize this guy from last year!
