Edessa florida? - Edessa bifida

Edessa florida? - Edessa bifida
DeSoto, Dallas County, Texas, USA
October 13, 2007
I have a four-foot strip of liriope between two gates and found this on the leaves. A little over two weeks later the green version appeared. It was the first and last that I saw of either of them.

Edessa bifida -- D.B. Thomas det.
Moved from Edessa.

Moved from Edessa florida.

Edessa -- yes, but...
there's no grounds for calling it florida: the 2 spp can't be distinguished from above, and only E. bifida appears to reach TX(1)

Looks good
